Bringing home a new baby is exciting, but it can also come with plenty of questions. Whether you’re struggling with painful latching, worried about your milk supply, preparing to return to work, or simply looking for reassurance that feeding is going well, an in-home lactation visit provides personalized support right where you and your baby are most comfortable - at home!

What happens during our visit?

Every family is different, so every visit is tailored to your unique needs. During your appointment, we’ll take the time to understand your concerns, observe a feeding, and create a plan that works for your family.

Your visit may include:

• A full breastfeeding and health history

• Weighted feeds

• Latch and positioning assessment

• Oral function assessment for concerns on tongue or lip ties

• Pump flange sizing

• Bottle-feeding support

• Milk supply evaluation

• Help with nipple pain

• Return-to-work pumping plans

• Feeding pans for premature babies, twins or medically complex situations

• Answers to your breastfeeding questions

Our goal is to leave you feeling confident, supported and equipped with a clear plan moving forward. And because we cover so much content, we make notes so you don’t have to! We’ll email you all of the things we discussed same-day so you can start putting the wheels in motion asap.

What does it cost?

Our in-home lactation consultations are:

• $140/60 minutes which includes follow-up text support and care plan notes.

• $160/90 minutes which includes the above and can be the best option for multiple issues, or multiple babies!
