Meet the Team
Callie, IBCLC, Owner of Mooch
My name is Callie Counterman and I am the owner and the founder of Mooch Lactation! I am an IBCLC and also trained in Craniosacral body work which I incorporate into our sessions as needed.
I began my studies to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2017 and earned my certification in April of 2021. This time was bitter sweet for me because I was in the midst of helping my husband, Sean fight a grueling battle with a very rare and aggressive stage iv renal cancer. It would be 4 short months later that we would loose that battle. But without his unwavering support during my studies and constant encouragement I wouldn’t be doing what I love today.
When you choose Mooch you’re choosing a local woman owned business, you’re supporting so much more than a business name, you’re supporting my family. And for that we are beyond grateful and tremendously value every call, text and referral.
When I am not working (lol - when is that?) I am watching my boys play football! I am a Mom to two crazy boys, Wyatt Boone (11) and Walker Gentry (9). When I’m not trying to keep them alive I am either meeting up with my best friend for lunch or pilates class or I’m relaxing on the couch with our rescue dogs.
Fun Facts: I’m a HUGE football fan! My teams are UT, FSU, Dallas and Saints! I am a HUGE dog rescue advocate and we are constantly fostering, my favorite breed = Bulldogs!
Natasha, MSN, RN, IBCLC
My name is Natasha Gosek and I am a maternal-child health nurse with nearly three decades of experience. I’ve built my career around helping new moms thrive before, during, and after becoming new parents. I am a Master’s prepared registered nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, hatha yoga instructor and health educator. My nursing background includes level IV NICU nursing, high-risk labor and delivery and community health.
My passion is helping families learn techniques and strategies to improve their health & wellness during the transition to motherhood & parenthood — two of life’s biggest life journeys. I’ve spent years attending mothers and families locally and globally in private homes, non-profit organizations, birth centers, hospitals, private clinics and schools. I look forward to working with you, no matter where you are in your journey.
Fun Facts: I am the mother of two beautiful children. Our little zoo is ever growing with dogs, birds, fish and various reptiles. We enjoy traveling when possible and spending time outside exploring nature.
